We are pleased to announce that Aesthetix has successfully delivered specialized ergonomic and architectural solutions for QatarEnergy LNG's Sulphur Facilities, in collaboration with Técnicas Reunidas. This initiative is a critical component of the North Field Expansion (NFXP) Project, acknowledged as one of the largest LNG projects worldwide. The North Field Expansion represents a highly ambitious liquefied natural gas (LNG) project globally, aimed at greatly increasing Qatar’s LNG production capacity. The new LNG facility will take in around 6 billion standard cubic feet of feed gas daily from Qatar’s North Field, the largest non-associated gas reserve globally. The NFE project will produce approximately 33 MTPA of additional LNG, increasing Qatar’s total export capacity from 77 to 110 MTPA.
Aesthetix’s scope of work included ergonomic design and architectural planning for key operational facilities such as the New Sulphur Control Building (NSCB) Workshop, Substations 1201 and 1202, ITR areas, rest spaces, and several guardhouses across the sulfur handling infrastructure. As part of this strategic project, Aesthetix contributed by carrying out advanced ergonomic studies and providing architectural design solutions to enhance operational safety, comfort, and efficiency across multiple site facilities. In line with our dedication to improving workplace settings, our team performed extensive ergonomic research and offered architectural services customized for this project.
The architectural designs were developed in accordance with QatarEnergy LNG's stringent design criteria and aligned with Técnicas Reunidas’ EPC standards. Our team collaborated closely with stakeholders to guarantee that all areas facilitated functionality, safety, and maintenance ease while enduring the site's environmental conditions. These contributions have been instrumental in fostering efficient, safe, and human-centered workspaces that prioritize the well-being of all personnel involved.
We conducted detailed analyses to ensure that work processes and environments are optimized for human use, thereby improving productivity and reducing the risk of injury. Our architectural expertise helped shape workspaces that are both practical and supportive of employee well-being. At Aesthetix, we apply our technical expertise to ensure each project adheres to the highest industry standards and delivers lasting value. Our goal is to support smoother operations while reinforcing safety best practices throughout QatarEnergy's facilities.
